Nexplanon- when will the bleeding stop???

Question

I got it inserted in August and I haven’t stopped bleeding. I need to know if it is going to stop soon or if I should get it removed now. I’ve tried just about every method of birth control and nothing works for me. I don’t want to give up on the implant if I’m just being impatient. But if it is going to take more than a few more months to stop, I want it removed ASAP

I had nexplanon implant for a year and the spotting was awful for the first 3 months, then i‎t calmed down but around month 6-8 i‎t was constant. I got the implant removed and went back to the pill after a year because I couldn’t handle the bleeding anymore.

I got nexplanon a couple of years ago, Bless from February till I got it removed in November. I also got HORRENDOUS acne all over my body and the worst mood swings. It was the worst birth control I’ve ever had. I see all these commercials for it and people saying they get it and, yes it can work for some people, I just roll my eyes.

I bled for about one month. I think I remember my doctor saying if I bled for 2 months to come back and get a blood test make sure I’m not deficient in iron or anything. It’s not good to constantly lose blood and isn’t good for your body. .. depending on the thickness of the blood. Maybe wait it out another month see how it is, but if it’s thick you should go back to the doctors and ask for their advice.

i just started mine in September and i just got my period for the first time on the nexplanon and its been almost 2 weeks non stop, but i heard if u go to the doctors they can give u the pill for a month and your period will go back on schedule so im hoping mine wont last a month cus that's what im gonna do if its still going, im gonna get on the pill for a month so it will get back on track

I went almost a year without a period, mine didn’t start til the end of September and wouldn’t stop. It stopped eventually, but keep alot of pads/tampons on you.

I bled for 6 months straight and then the next 2 1/2 years I would have my period for 10-15 days every 45 days or so. 
But my best friend completely stopped getting hers on it so everyone is different.

It effects everyone so differently! I Had a. That was heavier than my normal that lasted for about three days every month. But then I would have breakthrough bleeding probably about twice a month for a day. That cycle for me started right away… I never had consistent bleeding like that.
