Curious as to if I am having back labor. I am 37+2 today. Had a checkup and I am dilated to a 1. Ever since around 8 this morning I have had excruciating pain in my lower back. Certain times are worse than others but I’m not feeling “contractions” when every day, I usually have MULTIPLE ‘false’ contractions. (TMI) but I have had watery like diarrhea today and read that that’s a symptom of labor coming. Also, I have lost a pound since last appt. also read that if that happens, you lose your water weight and labor can happen within a couple days. I’m not sure if I’m too anxious or just over thinking, but I never had back labor with my first, so I’m curious to if you have had back labor, What does it feel like?

UPDATE: my boyfriend made me a hot towel to put on my back. Pain has subsided some, and now I am feeling pain in my uterus. I felt my belly get hard at one point like a contraction, but felt nothing. Other than that, I am still having the pain in my uterus. I am so confused. My first labor was not like this.
