Amazing people

Ali

I had my weekly HCG test yesterday and the nurse who was taking my blood [im convinced] is my guardian angel. We started talking about my age, and then how much the needle hurt [and normally I don't even notice it] because I'm pregnant and she told me her whole life story, about how she too had her first baby at 18. She lived in a caravan park and raised her daughter on her own. Her parents begged for an abortion and she says "Gabby was the best thing to happen to me. I don't regret that girl one bit."

She then told me that no matter what, I'm going to be okay. She said I'm not a feral, I seem very intelligent [taking myself to my doctors appointments, applying for government assistance, applying to online university]. I don't know who she was but she's given me so much hope. I am so thankful for people like her who offer scared mums love, support and hope.

~ just thought I'd share some positivity for us young mums ~
