Ok. So I am confirmed 7 weeks pregnant today with our ultrasound🤗 and the big question that I had today was "can I continue to lift heavy?" I was planning on keeping my weight around 135lb for squats and deadlifts and my doc is saying to do NO MORE THAN 15lbs!! I said lady the barbells start at 45lbs! She was adamant about this 😭 she was saying how bad it is for my joints.. but she didn't say anything about it harming the baby.
Sooo anyone have a doctor who is pro heavy lifting? I'm not going to be stupid about it! I listen to my body and will adjust weight accordingly. But 15lbs lady?! When pre-pregnancy I was lifting around 200lbs 🙄🙄
