How long should I wait until my missed period to take a pregnancy test?

So I’m late a day my period was due the 5th this month. I tested negative around 5 pm yesterday the fifth. When should I test again assuming I don’t get a period, 
Background: I had sore breast and fatigue the entire week after ovulation. Then no symptoms my second week of the tww. So I don’t think I’m pregnant but there is a good change bc we bbydanced 7 days within a “10 fertile window”. 21 yo female. Ttc baby #1. 2nd cycle trying
When should I retest? 
Usually I spot for 3 days before my period fully comes, but I still haven’t spotted.
