Introduction to bottle??

When did you introduce your little ones to a bottle?

6 weeks or until the breastfeedung relationship is established, same for pumping.

My daughter lost over 10% of her birth weight so at 2 weeks her pediatrician suggested I suppliment with formula. She is 4 weeks old now and has had at least 1 bottle a day since then.

Unfortunately my son was born at 36 Weeks, was very small, had low blood sugar, and my milk didn’t come in until 3 days later. He was bottle fed from day 1. And for the first 3 days he was getting banked breast milk. He is 5 days old now and he does latch onto me (with a shield) but for now I am topping him off after every feed with a little pumped milk, and I am also pumping 8x a day. Thankful that he is now getting everything he needs from me! 😊🙌🏾 But I am praying that we get to the point that we won’t need the shield soon. And that he doesn’t get nipple preference because of taking a bottle. 😟
