My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and have never once used protection, since we pretty much knew everything about each other beforehand as we had a very inappropriate work relationship that involved a lot of over sharing. Since day one, we both agreed that if it happened it, it happened but now, I feel kind of frustrated because we both have one child respectively from previous relationships, and we're both relatively healthy people and NOTHING. We've had a couple of "almosts" where my period was late, light, or nonexistent, but still no baby. Even his twelve year old (without knowing allllll of the "fun" details) is feeling the frustration ! And it seems like everyone around me is having no trouble at all and I'm genuinely happy for them, but still! My heart breaks each month when my period arrives and anytime I let him know it's late, or he figures it out, I know some part of him gets his hopes up (the other parts are going over expenses, he's a numbers guy) and it kills me I can't give him the family he wants because he really doesn't have any (no lie, almost everyone is dead or dead to him, and it is heartbreaking). I just need a little pick me up I guess :/ because I don't understand what the problem could even be.

BTW, congrats to everyone who recently got a positive and I hope a positive comes soon for those who didn't!
