Hi everyone, so my boyfriend, now fiancé, gave me a stainless steel promise ring nearly 8 years ago and I️ wore it every day until he upgraded it to a 10k white gold one. I️ wore that ring for about 4 years until he asked me to marry him with the ring in the picture about 2 months ago. This ring is 14k white gold. I️ would get this rash sometimes with my gold promise ring. I️ don’t believe I️ have an allergy to gold, since I️ wear other gold jewelry daily, but I️ do have an allergy to silver. This rash is only in this area, nothing around the ring or on the other side. It itches, but it doesn’t spread or hurt. I️ just have no idea what this is other than an allergy to the gold, and that would absolutely crush me if that’s the case 😞
