Are there any moms using cloth diapers? What are the pros and cons

I use greenmountaindiapers prefolds and thirsties diaper covers. I wash diapers every three days, and it is super easy. A cold wash no soap, hot wash with soap, cold wash with splash of vinegar, and done. Would do rinses, but my washer doesnt have that function. No folding when dry, I just stack them up in neat pile. Takes two minutes if that. I wash the covers with her laundry. She is almost a year old, and I have only had to buy two sizes of diaper because I dont pin, just fold them up in the cover. Have used the same covers since birth, but will need the next size up soon, and the next size will be all I need till potty training. BIG money saver, and everything is still in plenty good enough condition to use on my April/May baby, too.

Next month wi'll make two years of using cloth diapers and cloth wipes exclusively for our 23month old. We absolutely love it and will never go back.  Pros are: No harsh chemicals, no leaks, no blowouts, cute prints, soft inner lining touching baby's bum vs plastic/paper, good for the environment, saves money, never need to worry about running out in the middle of the night because you ran out of diapers and wipes, it's a lot easier than disposables to cloth on the go than most realize. Cons- it can be expensive to start but it's best to buy a few each week vs a whole stash at once, it's 1-2 extra loads of laundry, once baby is introduced solids or is formula fed you must spray/rinse poopy diapers before washing, it may take trying a few different brands and styles to find the perfect one for your babe. Over all though, it's really not that bad and not hard once you get a good routine down. I highly recommend joining the group Fluff Love & CD Science. Pros: no diaper blowouts (LO has definitely blown out disposable diapers), fewer diaper rashes, no running to the store to pick up diapers, cheaper, can be reused with next kid or sold which increases savings dramatically
Cons: upfront cost (people can bring clothes diapers to showers if your register for them to help out), extra laundry

I do a mixture of cloth and disposable. They're really cute and a good money saver. I got mine on Amazon. I like doing a mixture bc I know my son takes huge poops in the morning so I just leave a disposable on until that poop is done lol and use cloth in the afternoons.

My son has NEVER had a rash w cloth diapers pros? he's never in pain and I don't buy useless extra stuff like cream for rashes. I also use cloth wipes w just water. He's a super healthy happy baby! ... I have only spent 250 dollars on name brand cloth diapers (I got them second hand on offer up) :) I'm planning on getting a few more but it beats wasting money on disposables every month... plus we are borrowing the earth from our children because they will be here after we are gone.. I have a happy conscious knowing my son's diaper won't be on this earth for 500 years. Cloth goes hand in hand w breastfeeding.. the poop isn't a problem w the washer ( I BF and supplement w formula). I also save money as I like to hang dry my diapers and sun bleach them :). Me and SO love cloth diapers... it isnt a burden on his wallet. I've read that cloth diaper babies potty train way faster than disposable diaper babies because they can feel that they are wet. ... CONs? Washing them every two-three days. But it actually isn't a big deal considering I do his laundry every two/three days anyways it really is a big deal. I honestly love my cloth diapers sooooo much. SO and our family hates on them because it's not what they used but I think they just hate the fact that they didn't do it for their kids. They're really awesome I would give it a grey but wouldn't start using them until baby is 7-10 pounds
