What are your thoughts on letting family &friends kiss your baby

I decided I didn’t want no one to kiss my daughter except me and my husband. But then I changed my mind because she has chubby cheeks so it’s so hard not to. But then on of my husbands friends kissed her and now she has bumps all over her face. So of course I change me mind back to no. What are your thoughts on family and friends kissing you baby

I've seen too many stories about babies getting herpes because of family kissing the baby. It's all cute and fun until your baby has painful blisters all over their face

It’s not just meningitis. I’m an RN and you have to also worry about rsv, whooping cough, and one baby died at 3 weeks because someone with a cold sore kissed her

Id say grandparents and the actual parents and siblings are okay but everybody else buh bye 👋🏼 id make them wash their mouths too because i know they smoke so they know ill be lil vicious with them.

Close loved ones who’ve been properly vaccinated and are not currently sick, even if it’s “just a bug”

Only family and prob my Bestfriend I’d allow, I always attack my little cousins, niece and nephews and friends kids with kisses, but if I’m sick or whatever I stay away from them, I’d expect that back.
