first doctors visit

I've recently found out I'm pregnant. (a week ago, I'm about 6 weeks)I'm younger than I'd hoped to have been when this happened but I'm still very greatful. My doctor can't see me until mid December. I'll be about 10 weeks by then. When should I typically been seen after discovering a pregnancy. (sorry if this is a stupid question I'm just not sure)
