I Don't Know

So all of my life, I've been a more reserved, shy person. However, seeing as it is my senior year in high school, I decided to let myself open up a bit more and have fun. Well, the problem is, I don't know how to feel about it. You see, I just hung out with a boy who my best friend used to date, and he started to kiss me. It was a make out session, but I just don't know how to feel about it. He tried his best to turn me on and he was really nice about everything. I'm just extremely conflicted because I have strong inhibitions, mostly due to the way I grew up. I don't know what I feel. If I tried to answer, I'd probably say empty or tired. Is this normal?
