What do you think is an ideal age to parent a child

Hmmmm.... I can't really answer this because I've had a kid in each category! But honestly I think it depends on the maturity of the parent. Some women are wonderfully great moms right out of high school! Others may have the need to go travel or finish their education before they want to have kids. I say to each their own!! And I'll answer this question in the next 18 years and let you know which kid I had in a particular age bracket turned out!  Lol J/K ;)

I was 20 when my son was born and I'm in a relationship still with his dad, his dad is a full time electrician. Were expectin #2 in February. My son starts kindergarten in sept. I run my own business. I'm now going to be 25 in July. So age really has nothing to do with being a parent I think. I think it's the mental state of being ready and accepting that it's not about you anymore and taking responsibility and moving someone else with our whole heart and you'd do anything for them. Like last night I had a dream my DH took my DS out in a boat without a life jacket on, I woke up beating on him in real life in our bed lol. I love my son with all my heart and wouldn't change a thing about my life.

It doesn't matter the age. It's when you and your hubby/ bf are able to. When you have a stable job. And are mature enough.

In my hometown, most people become a parent right out of high school... I didn't... Now me and a few of my peers (most of whom are single, while I've been married almost 6 years) are the stragglers without kids. My husband and I are waiting until we buy a house that way we can build a future and a home for our child. Time is on our side. He is turning 31 this year and I turned 25, still I feel left out and left behind by those I grew up with who have 1-4 babies already. I want to be a mommy to a human baby before I'm thirty... I'm already a  mommy to two sweet little chinchilla girls! ;-)
