Referral For Fertility Clinic?

First off, thanks to the ladies commenting! Any small piece of info help! As we all know, this is quite a process with a bunch of baby steps.. pun intended. 😉

Anyway.

The cancer center actually got back in touch with my husband and a couple of the nurses remembered him from when he was there (it was really sweet). They reached out to the clinic they typically send patients. I don’t believe it’s a fertility clinic, but more of where you go for semen analysis and sperm storage. If there is an actual name for that, excuse my lack of knowledge. So we should hear from that doctor next week to set up an appointment! Prayers and baby dust requested and I will keep updating!

My husband and I reached out to the fertility clinic we plan on using and they told him he would have to have a referral from his Primary Care Physician.

If any of you ladies know from experience, does he have to actually SEE the doctor (like Get a physical or something) or should he be able to call and get a referral?

He doesn’t have a PCP. His last one was in OH (we’re in SC) for when he was undergoing cancer treatment. That’s was about 12 years ago.
