birth control problems 😧

Has anyone ever had problems with getting an IUD inserted? I went in yesterday to get one and they tried for over an hour to place it and they couldnt. they told me i have a tilted uterus and cervix... (Whatever that means) They said theyre gonna try one more time to place it and they're gonna give me a medication to open my cervix, but they dont think theyll be successful. I've tried the pill but it makes me throw up every time i take it, i tried the nuva ring but it gave me severe cramps... I really want the IUD but the doctor said I should look into the implant in the arm or depo shot (I've heared nightmares about those though) if anyone can offer me some more insight I'd really appreciate it. 😊
