34 weeker coming soon... severe pre-E

Normal blood pressure, lots of protein leaking from the kidneys, untreatable headache and baby's measuring very small 😓 I have been admitted for almost a week and they changed my pre-eclampsia status to severe, gave me steroid shots for babies lungs, and will be delivering on Sunday at exactly 34 weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do when they take him away right away and my only support system, my husband, goes with him. I'm dreading the first hour after birth so much. I'm going to miss being pregnant because I really loved it, and I just wish my body was the safest place for my baby boy, but it's not giving him what he needs. I'm so scared 🙁

UPDATE:

Baby boy was born on November 13 @ 10:15pm after a full 48 hour induction. He weighs 3lbs 15oz and is currently in the NICU. 2 separate rounds of steroid shots (30 weeks and 33 weeks) helped his lungs so much; he came into the world screaming and he’s needed 0 breathing assistance. Blood sugars look good, he just needs to be able regulate his body temperature and feed on his own. And he’s so damn cute 💙
