What did you use to keep your baby warm?

I have no idea what I’m doing looking after a baby I’m terrified for when he comes. I don’t even know what they need to sleep with? Do you use sleeping bags? Blankets? Google isn’t very helpful 😩

babies don't need blankets, it's a suffucation and SIDS risk!! footed pajamas to sleep in, keep your house at a warm temperature. Google sleep sacks. or sleep swaddles. layers if necessary but you also don't want them to overheat as that contributes to SIDS as well. NO BLANKETS.

Never a blanket!! Doesn’t matter if there’s holes in it. Absolutely no blankets in the crib. 
We swaddled our daughter with velcro swaddles. I prefer the velcro simple because it’s not going to come undone and become a safety hazard. Once they can roll you can’t swaddle anymore. Instead you can switch to long sleeves if needed.

No son wears a sleep sack. Basically a blanket that zips and has holes for his arms and head

Footed pajamas and the sleep sacks. If you fear your baby is going to be cold, just add on more layers of clothing. No blankets, nothing else in the crib or Cot.
