To start off: my dad was never really in my life, my mom raised my sister and I️ alone while my dad was always in and out of prison.

So my wedding is next month, I️ invited my dad (even though I️ felt obligated). He offered to pay for my photographer which was nice.

My dad is remarried and my mom is as well. I️ told my dad I️ wanted to take pictures of Shane (fiancé) and I️ with him and his wife, my mom and step dad, Shane’s parents, and then just one picture with my mom and dad for my own memories of my biological parents to have for my own sake. It’s my wedding day. He threw a fit and said he would rather shoot someone then take a picture with my mom. (Dramatic much¿) I️ told him that it’s my wedding and he didn’t have the right to try to make calls at my wedding. If he didn’t want to take pictures with my mom so be it but he then made the comment “if we can’t take pictures all together then I️ just won’t take pictures at all” then he started stating...”you can just have your stepdad walk you down the aisle”

Now he isn’t coming to my wedding and he refunded his money from the photographer.

So my question is, is it weird to want that picture for my own sake?
