paraguard

Hello ladies, I just had my paraguard iud inserted on October 31. My doc was pretty good in advising me of everything before and after but I'm not sure if was my nerves before or cramps afterwards that had me tune out. my question is how long do i wait after to have sex? my husband is getting impatient. I'm supposed to go back next week to make sure it hasn't shifted or whatever. thanks in advance!
