Teen parent and college?

Question

I am 17, I'll be 18 in August, and I just found out I'm pregnant. I'm enrolled into nursing school and plan to get my bachelors degree. But now that we have a baby on the way, I'm scared I won't finish college. We haven't told our parents yet. But I know my parents will think I won't finish school. What do I do to make them realize having this baby makes me want to finish even more so! Did any of you finish college as teen parents? I'm only 4 weeks pregnant, but my boyfriend and I are excited! Nervous, but blessed and excited!

I finished highschool while I was pregnant and then enrolled in college when she was 6 months old, just graduated February of 2013. It's hard but worth it!

I had my first child a month before I turned 15.  It didn't stop me from finishing high school. I even graduated a year early. Unfortunately I still haven't finished college. I have a few more classes to go & my first child is 25.  Sometimes life gets in the way. I wish you the best.

I was pregnant at 17 had my daughter at 18. Because of the circumstance I was in I didn't get to graduate high school when I should have. But that didn't stop me. I am now 26 with three kids and about to graduate from college and my next step will be to get my masters. People telling me I couldn't do it pushed me harder to accomplish my dreams. You can do it! It's not easy but I promise you that it will be worth it :)

Congrats! I'm 16 and my son is three months. I am still in high school. Just explain to your parents how you feel.
