I just found out my mother has 2 lumps, one in or near her throat and one somewhere in her chest area. My mother has had issues with her thyroid balance sine menopause so she was put on different birth control to help. Last month she was suffering from random headaches everyday and probably still is but can that be a sign she has cancer? She has an appointment in another week but is it common? Will I get it too? Does it hurt? Is she suffering from this?

I'm 20 and I have yet to show her anything amazing with my life yet. I'm struggling to find work and I came back from school without anything to show for it. I know she's disappointed but I'm trying desperately to start moving my life forward but there's always something stopping it from happening. I'm terrified she's going to die before I can make her proud :(....
