So I have added two new kitties to my family. I got them both from the same lady on November 4th but they are not from the same litter. The bigger one is all black (Nefi) and the smaller one is black and white (Nori). Nori was the only kitten the mamma cat gave birth too and there was also something wrong with her milk. Nori was sick before we got her (vomiting) and so was another cat that nursed off of her. I didn’t think anything of it at the time bc little kitties get sick sometimes. Nefi started using the litter box as soon as I showed her where they were, but Nori refuses. I have no choice but to keep her in the room with the litter boxes and their toys for the most part bc she will just go to the bathroom anywhere. Poop and pee. I’ve never had any experience with this. All my kitties have always gotten the hang of it within a day or two. She WILL NOT go in the box. I special ordered some kitten attract litter and I️’m hoping it helps her. I put her in the box, she jumps out. I try the other box, she jumps out. She’ll only go in a box if I pick her up midway thru her doing her business and once she’s done, she just jumps out and doesn’t even cover it. If the litter especially made for kittens doesn’t change anything, could she possibly be a special needs kitty? If so, is it wrong of me to not really want to keep her? She’s one of the cutest kittens ever. But if I’m not sitting in the room with her she just cries and cries, with no let up. My husband would not be okay keeping a cat that doesn’t use the box. What should I do?

Update: She’s using the litter box now!!! Got the new litter and she took to it right away. I’m so happy!!
