do antidepressants effect the pill?

I'm on the mini pill and taking antidepressants but forgot to ask my doctor if they effect each other?

I was on the pill for years while on prozac with no problems--and I asked repeatedly to confirm there wouldn't be any interactions, so unless my psychiatrist, pharmacist, and two doctors were wrong, there shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure about the two together.   but I do know that taking the mini pill or other oral forms of birth control effect your body's natural ability to produce serotonin and can lead to depression and hormone imbalance.

Don’t think so but you can call the pharmacy you fill your meds at and ask the pharmacist
