Boyfriend still wears a ring his ex gave him

So I've been with my boyfriend for 9 months and this is something that has bothered me from the beginning. He likes wearing nice rings and has atleast 6 that he either wears all at once or just a few. Anyways, one of them is from his ex. I absolutely hate her, btw. She has given us problems since the day me and him got together, she can't let go of him, but he's over her. But he still wears this stupid ass ring she gave him. He says it means nothing to him, he just likes the way it looks. It is a nice ring and I'm sure it cost some money. But I don't care.

It just hurts me because it's a gift she gave him and with how much problems she's given us, I don't think he should be wearing it out of respect for me. My ex gave me a beautiful ring while we were together but I wouldn't and have never worn it since I've been with my now boyfriend, I just don't think it's right.

Am I overreacting? Do I have a right to be mad? It just bothers me so much and I've continually told him how much it does yet he still wears it.

I kind of wanna start wearing my exes ring to show him how it feels, I know so childish but he's done this to me 😂

FYI, it's not on his ring finger and was never meant as an engagement or promise ring, just a gift.
