No sperm

My husband and I have been ttc for 2 years. He finally went in for a sperm analysis two days ago. I just received a call from my doctor with the results. He said that there are no sperm in the sample. I was too shocked and upset to ask too many questions but he said they are sending the sample away for further testing to see if there is a an infection. I'm upset but don't want to jump to conclusions or read too much on the internet. Has this happened to anyone's husband? What was the outcome, were you able to conceive?! Looking for some positive insight. Thanks ladies!
