Would you move to another state /country to find a better job/career?

I am married, have a child and I feel stuck where I am. I have heard of other places with better outlooks but it’s a big risk. 
Any advice is welcome!!

Moved this year with my 3 (now 4) year old son and our dog for my career. Pennsylvania to California. It's been tough but also rewarding. You can always move back.

PLEASE DON'T FEEL TRAPPED! TALK WITH YOUR SO! There are always options! Think about what you want, and if a move would be beneficial, definitely talk about the possibility! You don't want to look back and regret not taking the option! (My husband and I are moving from the US to Sweden next year for career prospects. These things take time and effort, but are so worth it when you know what you want.)
