Taking dummy away !
Right I'm loosing my bloody mind ! My baby is 3 months old and he's only just started wanting a dummy the last 2 weeks during the day to get to sleep which has now turnt into him wanting it all the time which wasn't a problem at first as he was sleeping through at night but now he's waking every half an hour because the dummy's fallen out so as horrible as it is I've decided to take the dummy altogether as no one was getting any sleep and he was ratty when he woke which he wasn't before wanting it! Now I won't give it he will not sleep at all or if he does it's for 30 minutes at the tops it's only been a day since I've taken it so I guess he's just upset that he can't suck on anything to settle , I've replaced the dummy with a comfort blanket bear thing that he is now clinging onto but is still crying which I knew would happen but has anyone done this before and give me any tips or help? Giving back the dummy isn't an option as it's causing more disruption that it helped
