Hi all,

I’m in Iowa and I have Medicaid for insurance. I am high risk and my perinatologist recommended progesterone injections because my son was born at 31 weeks. They have no idea why I went into labor because everything was fine as far as they could tell, no high blood pressure no infection. Now I have made over 8 phone calls, talks to 2 different pharmacies, my insurance twice and both my perinatologist and my ob many times. No body is able to figure out how to get it covered by my insurance, and I can’t afford $700 a month for these injections. Has anyone in Iowa been able to get these covered on Medicaid?
