TTC a certain sex

Have any of you tried the different tips and tricks out there for getting a certain sex for your baby. Like eating like a guy to possibly conceive a boy, or not having an orgasm to get a girl, or even using the Chinese lunar calendar. If you have tried any tricks to try and get a certain sex, what where they and did it possibly work?
