OPK vs DPO

Ok, so I had a positive opk on the 30th. Which was days before I expected the surge based on my 32 day cycle so I kept testing just to be safe. It was negative the next day, Halloween.

So the last four days (the 7th, 8th, 9th and today the 10th) I’ve had positive opks. They are instantly testing darker than the control.

My period is “expected” Nov 22.

Do I count my DPOs based on the first day of positive ovulation test or the last day? I’ll test again tomorrow and see if the opk starts getting lighter/negative. I’d planned on taking an hpt on dpo 10 or 12 but now I’m confused on when exactly that is.
