This CM stuff is confusing 🤨 plz help!

Okay so I got my period Oct 31 to Nov 4 then by Nov 6 I was having a good amount of EWCM (from what I think is EWCM, I looked up some pictures and stuff. It was the usual clear/whiteish and super stretchy and all that good stuff) then I checked my cervix, it was soft, higher then usual and I could fit my fingertip TMI sorry 😐 then the following day the same thing and then Wednesday It was super clear and stretchy but not as much as last time then today is the same thing so for like a whole week it was from what I have read “fertile CM” but what I’m having problems with is that every app that I use to track my ovulation says I shouldn’t be ovulating yet, that technically I should be ovulating tomorrow until the 17th? Does stretchy, clear CM always mean ovulation is here or coming?
