Unusual bleeding

I have always had very regular periods. My period just ended 6 days ago on May 1st. I am about to be in my fertile phase of my cycle and even when I wiped this morning and checked my CM it was right on track. I just went to the bathroom and on the toilet paper there was stretchy egg white CM and bright red blood. I've never had this before and was wondering why it would be happening.. Any help?!
