TTC since 2012

Sooo my husband and I got married in August 2012 and immediately started ttc. From September to December I had a tragic life event happen and gained 20 plus pounds. During this time I also got acne that will not go away. This has never been an issue for me. In April I started to bleed lightly and randomly until the following September. This was nearly constant. I went no longer than 2 weeks without some kind of bleeding. I went to the Dr and she did not testing and just gave me clomid. I took it one time and nothing. I wasn't comfortable taking it because she did not testing. My period has been pretty normal since I took the clomid in September of 2013 but we have had no luck. I'm 23 and my husband is 25 so we are both getting very concerned.
