November buddies?

Question

Anyone planning on IUI this month? We’re also doing Clomid and trigger. It’s our first time after a year of TTC. I am 33 with all normal tests, hubby has a low morphology. Had an early MC in March. Nervous/excited/scared/anxious. Looking for advice and positive thoughts! I am here to support everyone going through this—-IUI, IVF, and anything in between. Sending ❤️ —Dana

Hi! I am in the same boat and just did my first IUI last week so happy to share my experience  :) 
I am 32, TTC 1 year with unexplained infertility for hubby and I. I was put on a low dose of clomid days 3-7 then an ovidrel shot. Had to go in for blood work and ovulation monitoring starting day 12 of my cycle and then they had me come in every other day to monitor until I was nearing ovulation and they were ready for me to do the trigger shot. I gave myself the shot which sounds really frightening but it ended up being less scary than I expected (especially when you tell yourself it's to help try for a baby!). My IUI itself was done about 30 hours after my trigger shot, and the process overall was actually very smooth - I was nervous going in but it's a very quick procedure and I didn't experience any form of discomfort or side effects. I'm now in the 2WW but overall it was a good experience and I'm definitely glad to be starting this more "gentle" route as a first option!

We are!  This is our first round of IUI after almost 4 years of TTC naturally.  I am currently on CD 3, and starting clomid today.  I have been advised to do OPKs starting on the 5th, and we will do insemination no later than the 8th!  I am hoping and praying to get my BFP for Christmas!

I am literally in the exact same boat! I am 33 with unexplained infertility. Did my first iui yesterday and a second round today. Took Clomid and trigger shot beforehand. Hoping for the best and wishing you the same🤞🏻

Same boat with first iui this month and low morphology. Day 3 labs and ultrasound followed by clomid starting on Wednesday. Are you getting the ovidrel shot as well? If you remember and feel comfortable, please post how everything went. I’m anxious and excited.

Haven’t started yet. December is the plan to do IUI and clomid. We just finished all our testing.

Me me me! I'm 24 hubby 31. We've been trying for 2 years, haven't been preventing for 4. Unexplained infertility, all tests looked great. This will be our first IUI cycle. I'm currently on my second day of clomid. Where are you in the process??

Has anyone else had post-clomid cramping and nausea? Can I take anything??
