Natural birth?

Anyone thinking of doing a natural birth at home/ birthing center?

This is going to be my second child and after 35hours in an induced labor I felt a little robbed of the labor process(being at home, breathing, showers, massage, painful contractions,etc.). I kind wanna try  something completely different this time around! What about you ladies?

Do lots of research.  It is important for me to have a natural birth, but my insurance considers any birthing center as out of network.  With the help of my doula, I found an amazing ob-gyn, in network, who delivers in the hospital but with a team of midwives and does everything 100% natural unless it is a life-threatening situation.  I feel like this is the best of all worlds, and I would have never known this doctor existed if I hadn't done my research.

I'm reading ina mays guide to childbirth. It's completely opened my eyes. The book is so positive and inspiring I'm definitely going natural in a birthing centre now.

I had a natural birth but I did it at the hospital.  No iv or epidural. I wish I could have done it at home but my family suggested I deliver at a hospital in case of emergency,

I would be terrified to give birth anywhere but a hospital!! Things can go wrong in the blink of an eye!

I was induced with both of my girls and had two very different experiences. I had my first in a regular hospital and I was induced because of pre e. I had to labor in bed and it sucked. 7 hours (so wasn't horrible) but I did it without an epidural. Second baby was in a birthing center at a different hospital in town. I was induced for high blood pressure. I was allowed to get up and use a birth ball (they provided it) they also let me have some ice cream (I threw it up shortly there after but it gave me a big boost so I'm thankful for it). My nurse stayed in my room the entire time and was so amazing, she was like a built in doula that the hospital provided for me. Also if I wouldn't have been induced they have a huge hot tub that you can labor in, but not have the baby in :( only bummer. I also did that labor without an epidural. That labor lasted 5 hours and I pushed 2 pushes cause they let me do it on my side. So easy and fast. Once she was half way out I turned so they could lay her on my belly. They insisted that we do at least 30 minutes of skin to skin (AMAZING!!! The other hospital took her right away to weigh her and measure and all that fun stuff) they were ok with not clamping the cord and letting it pulse for a while after she was born too. It was just a wayyyyy Better experience. I will for sure be delivering at the birthing center again.

2nd baby and I'm having a homebirth this time around. We were all natural and unmedicaided in the hospital for our first but now being comfortable and confident in the process I look forward to a completely organic, uninterrupted birth process.

This is my first and I'm deff having my little one at the hospital and I know that I most likely will get an epidural. I feel that right now that's what would work best for me, but that could change

I am going to try for a natural birth but definitely at at a hospital just to be extra safe.

I am delivering at a birth center! My birth center is in a hospital though so I feel a lot more comfortable just in case anything goes wrong.
