My husband called me a bitch😔

I had just gotten done putting our kids to bed when I hear my husband yell "Damn it" from the kitchen. He had been making dinner for us since he missed my birthday yesterday. Three seconds later I hear a huge crash from the kitchen so I go down stairs to see what happened. The fridge shelf looked like it had been ripped out of the fridge and there were condiments all over the floor. I asked him "did you rip the shelf out of the fridge because you got mad at something?" And then he screams "NO BITCH!!! NOW GET ME AN EFFING TOWEL INSTEAD OF PISSING ME OFF MORE". I go into our room and just go to bed. He comes in an hour later and says "dinners ready" like nothing happened and then came in again and asked if I was going to eat when I didn't come out. Last week while the kids were at my parents he got mad at me about laundry and put his fists through our bedroom wall. My parents won't be home from vacation until Friday (they live an hour away) and I have no friends in this area. I have no idea what to do. Is this abuse even though he didn't hit me?
