Your levels can play around which is why they say once you've had a positive ovulation test, stop testing! Only taking bbt and having three consecutive high temps can confirm ovulation and if you're 4DPO I'm assuming this has already happened? In which case, no, you're not ovulating. Hope that helps!

Yes but how do you know that? I assume as you asked if you were ovulating now then you can't be sure? Did you use a digital OPK? The normal strips like in your photo? Have had three consecutive temp rises? If you know that you ovulated 4 days ago then no, obviously you are not ovulating!

This month I know I ovulated of CD12 as I use digital ovulation kits which I can confirm by the temp shift this morning but I won't get it confirmed or get a cover line until I have two more days of high temps. Does this make sense?

So you can see here that my temp suddenly rose and stayed above the cover line consistently therefore confirming ovulation. The cover line differs for each person, it simply means the level after ovulation. Once three days of high temps have been recorded then ovulation has been confirmed. It's progesterone that keeps your temps up and then it drops significantly when you start your period.

It doesn't matter what the temp is, as long as you can see a sustained shift that lasts for more than three days. I'll post pictures of my last two months to show you. How do you think your 4dpo can I ask?
