*UPDATE no2**cycle cancelled due to poor response ?

I’m going through my second IVF with ICSI cycle (first one got one embryo to transfer but BFN) . I had a second scan this morning iv been stimming for 12 days . I have only 2 follicles and they have said that it is likely that this will be cancelled due to poor response .i has 6 eggs last time so I don’t no what has went wrong this time . I’m beyond devastated .just have to wait on a phone call in the afternoon to confirm . Has this happened to anyone else or is this a sign that we should just give up. I’m so upset

UPDATE: egg collection today and they got 6 eggs 😮 after being told to expect 0-2 max .. so just a bit of hope for anyone out there in a similar situation I’m glad I insisted on going ahead even the doctor was shocked .. they may not all be mature we won’t know to tomorrow if any fertilised but it’s a far better start than I could have hoped for - thank you to anyone who responded when I was feeling so low x

UPDATE - well for anyone out there feeling as bad as I did when I wrote the above post - when the Clinic told me to cancel and I said no - I done a test today and got a BFP ! The first time in my whole life I have seen a positive test - I can’t believe it . To have gone from having so little hope to finally after failed cycles having our Xmas miracle . Blood test on Thursday to confirm but I’m just so shocked and happy - anyone going through the rollercoaster of ivf/icsi miracles do happen xxx
