Clothe or swaddle or both?

I’m curious how many of you just swaddle, just clothe, or both your baby after they are born and while staying in the hospital. I think I prefer to just swaddle to have easier ability to change diapers and perform skin on skin. But my husband and mother n law want to dress the baby after it’s born. What do you guys prefer?

Hospitals are cold.lol our baby stayed in the long sleeve shirt (the buttons were cut off the bottom) and swaddled the whole time. When we did skin to skin it was easy to just take the shirt off of baby.

Skin to skin makes sense for just swaddling but as far as the diaper, I think my daughter only need like 4 changes the whole time we were there. Day old babies just don't go much. At least my breastfed one didn't. Just something to consider! Also with people visiting and passing her around the swaddle always came undone.

I did skin to skin after birth, then baby wore a little kimono side snap shirt the rest of the hospital visit with swaddle.

I plan to dress her for a quick photo session, then off the clothes will go. 
I probably will do that on the second day though.
