great grandma offered to give me her car *read description*

Ok so I have a grandma who married my grandpa when I was 5. Her mother is still alive at 104 or something. I don't see any of them often, but when I do I always make a point to talk to my great grandma since nobody else seems interested in her except my mom and dad. Yesterday she called me and I've never gotten a call from her since we aren't close. She told me that she isn't able to drive anymore (she lives with her daughter and son in law my grandparents anyway) and since nobody in her family needs it she wants to give it to me since I haven't had a usable car for about a year. (every time we fix it, it breaks down and another 700$ problem comes up so my husband and I can't afford it and I don't want to drive it with our infant son in the middle of car). The issue is, I don't want to be one of those people that takes and can never give anything nearly as kind in return. My grandpa has helped my parents an abundance of times since he's a little wealthy and my parents have hit rock bottom a couple times. She wants an answer today. What should I do? I can offer the money for my dead car (probably about 3,000$ and her car is worth about 7,000$ and we can't afford to pay anything out of pocket ) so again, I am not close with her, I don't have a usable car, but I don't want to seem like a leech and idk if it's rude to offer money
