Nipple piercings?

I’m dying to get my nipples pierced but I’m kind of scared? Lol. Any tips, pros or cons?

If you want to, definitely do it. Keep in mind it can take 8 months to a year to heal and even then you'll have to clean the piercing daily. It's a long term commitment. It does hurt to get done. Everyone says "It doesn't hurt." They're lying. It's a piercing. It's going to hurt. It's totally worth it though, and it's not horrible pain.

I've had mine done for over a year now, almost two years. I love these piercings to death, they're definitely my favorites (vertical labret at #2). Word of advice: wear a dark padded bra when you get them done. Not a push up bra, but a supportive one; any bumps in the car or if you accidentally knock them into something, the padding and support will help. Also make sure it's a dark color incase you bleed onto it. That's from my experience, at least.

I had my nipples pierced and loved them. The actual piercing didn’t hurt at all. Once I got pregnant and my boobs swole and nipples became ultra sensitive I had to take them out. I stated leaking around 16 weeks out of the piercing holes. That’s pretty annoying.

they're absolutely my favorite piercing! I got them done in July and even though they REALLY hurt, they're so worth it. I feel more confident with them even if no one else really sees them. Kaelie is absolutely right. Pick the most comfortable dark colored bra you own & never let it go. It will become your best friend & saving grace the first week or two. Especially if you bump them or when you ride in a car and the seat belt gets them. 😭

I’ve had both mines pierced now for 8 years and I love them. I started with hopes and now I have the bars. I got my left nipple done first it wasn’t too bad, quick pain then it got warm but that’s normal. Now when he did the right nipple I’m guessing because I knew what to expect I was a little more excited so right as the needle pierced my nipple got hard and he almost had to force it in. That one was a little painful. Sleeping in sports bras or a cami just to keep them in place and not move around is key, until they heal and are not sore. You must keep them clean and free of anything snagging or getting caught up on them.

I got mine done and I love them, they were definitely the most pain I've ever felt tho. it is pretty awful for a long time after because if anything touches it, they will get angry. definitely do your research on everything and be safe!

While they’re healing can you swim? Like in pools? Or should they be treated like a tattoo where you’re not supposed to submerge them and stuff? I’m just really anxious about getting an infection
