I’d like to mention also that I researched that Nitrite means you have blood in your urine? My theory is that I have been spotting off and on because of my birth control (depo) and that could be why it says that.

I know what a bladder infection feels like but I have something else going on that is confusing it. I think my cervix has been injured (not careful enough during sex, repeatedly. 😅) and it has hurt towards the end of peeing. I think I could be dealing with both issues and the UTI was making the pain worse. I’ve gotten some medicine and it’s almost gone. I’ve been okay mostly but I can tell my cervix is still messed up. I think it’s healed a lot but I notice when sex is too rough (Yes, we have been trying to be careful but failed a little hahah) the pain comes back some. I have noticed that for the past 2 years or so, when it gets closer to my period day (sometimes around my fertile time too), I’ll go to pee and it will feel like my bladder wants to empty more and it feels like some pressure. I did go to the doctor and ask her about it and I took a UTI test and it was negative. She wasn’t sure what it meant. I’m thinking I will get a pap to see if there is anything abnormal going on. Other than the pain, there had been some cramping but like I said, my spotting still comes with some period cramps. All I know is, I overall feel better but the test strip result colors don’t exactly match or... I don’t know!
