Pregnant??

So I've recently decided to stop taking the Pill (for various reasons). Just finished my last pack and was on the placebo pills last week. For the past 5ish years I've been on the Pill (Alesse 28 days) I've gotten my period on Wednesday/Thursday religiously during the placebo week until the last couple of months where I have not taken them as properly as I should have. This last week though, it hasn't shown up and I'm a tad concerned I could be pregnant. But I have only had sex once since my last period near the beginning of my cycle. There was one day of spotting last week and since then nothing. Haven't taken a test yet but just wondering if anyone else may have experienced this?
