Has any of you mommas taken away bottle before Bedtime?

I heard that at some point we should be removing the bottle before bedtime. Can anyone elaborate on this. Is it even a big deal??

we took away all bottles during the day. only sippy cups day time. however, I find it easier and faster to do bottles at night.  she can drink our a sippy, but it takes a lot longer to finish an 8 oz sippy,  than an 8 oz bottle. so I give dinner and a bottle after. I think I'll keep her on the night bottle for another few months, until she gets faster at finishing sippies

My son was pretty attached to both bottle and binky... both are gone totally... we got rid of the bottle by putting him down when he was exhausted so he fell asleep quick before he wanted it... now to get this little bugger out of our bed!

We have kept it. My son has to take almond milk because of a cow milk allergy. It is significantly less calories and we always brush his teeth after the bottle. I am going to start thinking about taking it away around 15 months. But for now, there’s no harm in letting him have it. He’s a good sleeper, good eater and happy kid. If those objectives weren’t met I would change something but I’m in no rush to change something when everything is going well.
During the day he gets a cup, just he before bottle we keep

Every child is different. My daughter wasn't attached to the bottle and never got one right before bed. With that said, we took the bottle completely away and started given her a sippie with milk only after meals at 11 months. Some babies are attached to the bottle so that could be harder. My daughter didn't care how she was getting, just wanted it so it was pretty simple for us.

We did he gets only sippy cups with milk and he gets his last sippy with dinner and that’s it

I took away all bottles the weekend before his first birthday. First two days were tough but he doesn’t even want one now when he sees my friends sons bottle on the table. He reaches for his sippy cup instead. But every kid is different. My friends 3 year old still gets a bottle before bed 🤷🏼‍♀️

We took away bottles once she turned one... she has a sippy cup of milk about an hour before bed. You want to make sure you brush your los teeth before they fall asleep for the night— after the last serving of milk. Milk has a ton of sugar in it and rots teeth.
