Odd smell after sex?

Up till now I’ve never had sex without a condom so I’ve never really had a smell coming from my vaginal area. My partner and I aren’t using condoms and afterward I noticed like a fishy smell. There’s no itching or pain  so I’m sure it’s not an std (and both our tests are negative for stds). Any one know of a way to get it back to where it was?

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) can cause a fishy smell after sex. It’s an imbalance of your natural PH most likely caused by your BF’s semen. Usually goes away on its own, but if it doesn’t call your OBGYN. 
I’ve had issues in the past myself. To prevent it, I take a daily probiotic, and use an organic lube (Good Clean Love).

maybe a UTI or sometimes if I don't take a shower after a day or so and have sex sometimes I smell after. Usually vaginal wipes or a shower get rid of the smell. Also sometimes your diet or how much water you drink can effect how you smell down there

Probably the cum still inside you. I’ve never had a guy cum inside me but I’m guessing it stinks after a while if you don’t wash..?

It’s fine. We all have a certain genital odor just due to sweat and cervical mucus and what not.
