Insurance won’t pay for the ultrasound!?
Help! So I️ got a IUD a month ago and am due for the ultrasound to check that it’s properly in place after my period.
My doctor couldn’t find my strings at my 2 week check up and she used a quick portable ultrasound to check that it’s there. Now I️ was told that my insurance won’t cover the ultrasound to check for correct placement!! It’s about $200 and I️ cant afford that!
Have any of you been through this, do you have any advice?
