False positive??

Okay so I️ took the First Response digital today and got a yes+. Naturally I️ freak out with excited and run to the drugstore to get  another pregnancy test to confirm. It showed negative. I’ve heard the digital ones are more sensitive, so maybe that’s why it’s showing positive? Just don’t want to get my hopes up!  Also- AF is supposed to come today but hasn’t so far.

the digitals are less sensitive. they require higher levels to read positive, so it's weird it would be positive but the line test wouldn't be

It’s weird that the digital would be positive and the line test negative. The frer detects hcg starting from 6.5 hcg and the first response digital needs 10hcg. Maybe a defective test? I’d test again with fmu

Depending on how many DPO you are, you might need FMU to get a positive result.
