My husband believes my mom doesn’t care about my baby.

My husband made the comment today that my mom doesn’t care about my pregnancy. His mother is extremely excited and is constantly giving us baby gifts and prepping her house for baby visits- this is her first grandchild. On the other hand my mom has only helped out when I’ve asked her -this will be her 5th grandchild. I don’t know how to respond to my husband because my mom and his are very opposite in many ways. I don’t think grand parenting is a contest? What do you think?
