Dr didn't check hcg

I went in for my ultrasound to determine due date I'm 6 wks. I asked my dr about my hcg levels and she said she doesn't check them unless there is a risk for miscarriage. Could hcg levels show a chance for miscarriage if too low? I'm probably being to nervous. I'm not having many symptoms if at all.
