SO.... my mentally and financially unstable baby daddy wants custody.

Look, I️ wouldn’t even care if he actually wanted to be a dad. He wants to go to court for custody because his mom said he should do so!

A. He has NOTHING for our son. Not a car seat, not a place to sleep, not a thing, nothing. “If he stays with you I️ shouldn’t have to buy anything”

B. He hasn’t done anything for our son! Today is the first time EVER he’s given me anything for our son. $37

C. I️ still let him come over WHENEVER he wants, if I’m working, if I’m home, any day and time. He can come over, does he? Nahhhhh why would he. MAYBE once a week to every other week.

D. He lives an hour away, he lived 15 minuets away when I️ got pregnant. Not my fault he moved. I️ don’t feel comfortable with my son being with people he barely sees once to maybe three times a month being an hour away. He’s an awful driver, has 20 speeding tickets. Don’t ask me how he still has a license.

E. He has a drug problem, all he has money for is weed. He can’t even stop to smoke weed for a day to hang out with his kid. He will be high as he’s with us. HE CAME HIGH TO THE HOSPITAL AS I️ WAS HAVING OUR SON!

F. He doesn’t know the first thing about taking care of our son. I’ve given him every opportunity, I️ even try to help! And all he does is get mad cause I’m telling him how to be a dad and he leaves. He doesn’t know how to make a bottle, he doesn’t know how to give him a bath, HE CANT EVEN BURP HIM CORRECTLY AND STORMED OUT WHEN I️ TRIED TO HELP HIM.

G. Lastly, he tried to kill himself!!!!!! He struggles with VERY bad depression and refuses to see a therapist.

He really has my blood boiling, like I’m ALL for our son knowing his dad and spending time with him but he is so childish he doesn’t want anything to do with him when we’re together. The only time he really tries to communicate with him is when we’re in public or people are around. If he comes to my house he goes on the other couch and takes a nap. Am I️ crazy or does he sound unfit? HE WANTS FULL CUSTODY OR 50/50. I️ just can’t 🤦🏻‍♀️
